Homemade Natural Deodorant Ingredients |
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Pure Coconut Oil- Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Preferred - 6 Tbsp.
I have these 3 different Virgin Coconut Oil.
Aloe Veda Distil Virgin Coconut Oil,
KLF Nirmal Coconut Oil VCO.
Holy Lama Naturals Extra Virgin.
I am using the Holy Lama Extra Virgin one, you can use any one available with you.
Baking Soda - 6Tbsp.
Corn Starch - 3 Tbsp.
DEODORANT RECIPE / METHOD
Mix baking soda and corn starch together and keep it aside.
Take melted coconut oil in a bowl. Melted here means it should be in liquid form since it might be frozen since its winter. You can easily melt the frozen coconut oil in liquid form by dipping its bottle into hot water mug for a minute or so.
Now add the cornstarch and baking soda mixture to the liquid coconut oil and stir out nicely to form a smooth consistency. The paste should be nicely smooth. If you find it difficult to blend, you can put it on stove for a minute and then stir it. I like to be little solid so that I can carry easily. If you wish a little creamy you can add more coconut oil.

Once mixed properly add it to any round jar and leave it there for few hours since it will automatically freeze in winter. In Summer, you can keep the jar in refrigerator for a solid consistency.
One can add few drip of essential oils for any specific aroma or simply for the pleasant fragrance.
