REVIEW

Vaadi Herbals is quite a new brand , though not very new , I saw its products at Urbantouch around 5-6 months ago & bought few of them because they claimed to be herbal & made up of natural ingredients & also they were very cheap. Like this shampoo is only Rs 40/- for 100ml.

I was quite excited on seeing the ingredient list. It contains Lemon, Tea Tree Oil, Neem,  Shikakai & Aroma Oils.

The packaging of this Shampoo is very simple, yet nice with a flip top, though the flip is little tight & I get hurt sometimes while opening it.

The smell of the shampoo is completely citrus , almost all lemon & quite strong. I thought the smell was just ok , but my Mom did not liked it. She made a comment saying, what have you used on your hair , Its too strong to bear. Though I was not able to feel it too strongly , may be my nose became insensitive to it , by using for long.

The consistency is just ok like any other shampoo & the color is light yellow.

Now on application, the shampoo lathers less than other shampoos, may be because its herbal. But I did not even feel that it cleaned my hair nicely when they required lot of cleansing. Specially once, when I had oiled my hair , it completely failed to remove that oil from hair. The Shampoo would work nicely, giving you clean hair only when they had been shampooed a day before or two.

I have been using this shampoo since one month, & it has reduced my dandruff little bit , but what I like more is , that  I feel some cooling sensation on using this shampoo.

Overall , this is a very gentle shampoo , which does not lathers well & can be used by people who likes to shampoo their hair daily. Also using this daily will not harm the hair being herbal.

PROS

Herbal  Shampoo with herbal ingredients.
Cheap at Rs 40/-
Easily available online
Simple hygienic packaging.

CONS

Does not leave hair squeaky clean.
Strong Smell.
Does not remove oil properly.
Tight Flip cap.
I don’t think if its available offline.

RATING – 2.5/ 5
