Today I am going to share my review on not so common brand in India – GIOVANNI, but is quite popular outside. I have recently tried Giovanni Shampoo & Conditioner, which is specially meant for dry damaged hair and so is my hair type these days, so I was very happy to find the deep moisture range in India. After trying it for almost a month, I am here to share my experience with Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo & Conditioner.

Giovanni Deep Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner Review

Packaging – Before going on to the review, I would like to tell you about the super cool and convenient packaging of this deep moisture range. The Giovanni Shampoo and Conditioner both come in a white slim rectangular tube bottles with a flip cap, very convenient to squeeze just the right amount of product. The flip is also convenient neither tight or loose, without any fear of spillage.

Texture, Fragrance & Application

The texture of both shampoo & conditioner is quite thick and creamy. The conditioner is more rich and thick in comparison to shampoo with a pure white colour. The shampoo and conditioner both smell citrus, only difference is that the shampoo has more stronger fragrance as compared to the conditioner which is more soothing & gentle.

In terms of application, just a pea size is required in case of both, a little more in shampoo in case of long hair, because very little of these products give great results. Little shampoo produce generous amount of lather resulting in absolutely squeaky clean hair. The conditioner is so smooth that gives a very rich creamy feel on application.

EXPERIENCE & RESULT

On application of the shampoo, I get generous amount of lather on my hair. I massage my hair for few seconds and then rinse with cold water. The shampoo removes all buildup, oil, greasy stuff leaving fresh clear scalp. Though it doesn’t moisturize my hair when used alone but dosen’t even rip off the moisture which results in dry hair.

I follow Giovanni Conditioner after this So Silk Deep Moisture Shampoo. I use little bit of conditioner on my hair focussing on my dry rough ends. Immediately on application of conditioner, I feel moisture back on my hair because just the application of this itself is too creamy. I leave the conditioner on dry ends for about a minute and then rinse off with cold water.




My hair feels very smooth and silk as claimed by this Giovanni So Silk Shampoo & Conditioner. This deep moisture range has enough capability to nourish the rough dry hair into smooth silky just in one usage. I know I am praising this deep moisture range a lot but can’t help since it gives a great slip to my dry rough hair within few days of using this dry hair care range. The worst problem which I face after shampoo is HAIR TANGLES. Yes my hair tangles a lot, which reduces greatly on using this shampoo conditioner range.

Overall I would say I am total love with this Giovanni Shampoo & Conditioner Dry Hair Range, and the best part is that its SLS free, Paraben Free and still lathers generously giving great results in terms of clean, silky smooth hair. I am very much impressed by this dry hair range and comes as savior to my dry oily combined hair types.  Would surely be buying these again and would suggest it to anyone struggling with their dry tangled hair.
