COLORBAR Stick Concealer Review

Colorbar Instant Coverup Stick Pencil Concealer Apricot Crush.

This review is on a concealer which is in stick form and thus very travel friendly and super easy to use. Its COLORBAR Stick Concealer in fat chubby pencil like that of Nyx and La colors Jumbo Pencil. This stick form was the main reason I opted for this instant cover up since I don't like the one in jars since they are little inconvenient to use and also not so travel friendly. I even prefer these in tube form and simply loved La Girl Pro HD Concealer, which was my first concealer in a tube form. Along with being super easy to use it results in giving awesome coverage. But this time when I saw this Colorbar stick one, I thought this would be the best of all in case of usage and convenience and so I got this in the lightest shade - Apricot Crush- shade 01.

Colorbar Stick Concealer Review

As mentioned above this Colorbar Concealer is very unique and different from other jar type or tube type cover ups, since this come in a stick form which is also quite thick and chubby adding to the convenience a little more since the thin pencil is little difficult to grab and more fragile which is not the case here. Along with that the thick tip of this makes you apply thick dots all over which helps in smooth and even application of this. The concealer appears totally dry to look it but when you use it, you can easily feel the creamy part of it and how easy it is to use. It applied effortlessly giving a smooth creamy texture which we normally don't expect in pencil stick form concealers since they are normally dry. Take a look at the swatches below of the dots dabbed very gently without any effort.

In the above pic, you can see the swatches of the dots, which  tried to blend with my fingertip very gently and believe me it required just minimum effort to get completely blend into you skin tone. Just dab it and blend it little and you are all done. I use to think using concealers perfectly is one of the trickiest parts of makeup but I have found the key to it is get the right shade according to your skin tone, then the job becomes extremely easy. But if the shade is too light or too dark than your skin tone, then no matter what you do, you would hardly get the desired result. I always prefer buying concealers just a little lighter than my skin tone with just the minimal difference and they work great.

Colorbar Concealer Review - ( after blend)

Overall I like this Colorbar stick concealer  a lot. It comes in a very unique and easy to use packaging which is very travel friendly and can be carried with you on daily basis. However I don't keep concealers in my purse like lip gloss and kajals but one can if you keep visiting places on sudden basis for a quick touch up. So this was all about the usage and tips on this Colorbar concealer. Do try and share your views on it.
