Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash Review
This Saundarya Face Wash comes in a normal tube packaging like other cleansers and is easy to use. It comes with a flip which opens easily due to which I would avoid carrying it loosely while traveling.
The consistency of the face wash is very thick and it appears similar to a thick cream. Even on touch it feels like a sticky gel cream. On application it does not lather like regular cleanser but makes my face so creamy that I feel I am getting some facial massage on my face while rubbing it over. I don't like this greasy creamy feel while cleansing. As soon as I wash my face, my skin appears very clean with no residues of oil or greasiness at all. It takes away all the oil leaving my skin a bit on the drier side. Yes initially I feel its too creamy but on washing I feel my skin to be stretchy due to dryness.
As you can make out from my review, I am not really happy with the results. Firstly the creamy texture on rubbing, then dryness after rinse and also the smell of this is medicinal and ayurvedic, not pleasant at all . I was expecting a lot more from this Soundarya Face Wash because it contains so many wonderful ingredients like Orange Peel, Aloe Vera, Neem and Tulsi. I even thought this would be a nice exfoliating face wash because of the presence of Orange Peel, but it didn't exfoliate the dead skin at all. I don't know why this Patanjali Face Wash didn't benefit my skin because I know what are the benefits of Orange Peel for Skin, but this time, it didn't really work on my sensitive skin.
Lastly I would like to conclude saying this is a good face wash for people with extra oily skin, since it takes away all the oil and people with dry skin should away from this or at least keep any nourishing moisturizer to use after face wash.
Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash Pros

Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash Cons
Gets very creamy on rub.
Leaves skin dry after rinse.
Strong ayurvedic smell.
