Baba Ramdev Divya Milk Protein Shampoo
Good Morning. This post is about a product from my favorite ayurvedic brand - Baba Ramdev Patanjali. Its an hair cleanser named Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Shampoo. Remember I did a post on Patanjali Products for Skin & Hair and promised to review the products. This milk protein shampoo is one of those.
I have used the original Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shampoo and have totally loved it. But this time I wanted to try a different variant so bought this one. I wanted to try its anti dandruff hair cleanser also but that was not in stock. I am using this milk protein cleanser since I bought this and here is the review on it.

Divya Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Shampoo Review
This milk protein shampoo from Baba Ramdev Patanjali brand comes in a beautiful looking white bottle with little bit of pink color. The bottle has a flip which appears cheap and fragile compared to high end brands. But I don't have much issues with the look since most of the ayurvedic products don't have attractive packaging like commercial products. but this milk protein cleanser looks quite sturdy and beautiful overall.
The shampoo is white in color with slighty runny consistency and has floral fragrance which is very gentle and much better than the one in Patanjali Original Kesh Kanti Cleanser.
On application, shampoo lathers well. But I feel the amount of shampoo required is little more specially when I have oily hair or I am washing hair after 2-3 days. Overall the shampoo lathers well giving squeaky clean hair. But yes I do need a conditioner or some kind of leave on or few drops of any non stick hair oil for my ends otherwise my hair ends, specially the split ends ( few at the bottom) feels somewhat dry. Currently I am using Matrix Hair Serum which along with soothing the ends, also helps in detangling the tangles if any.
This is not the case on using original Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shampoo. I take very little amount of that original shampoo, which gives me extra clean soft silky hair wihout any feel of dryness, specially when I use it in summers. It never dried out my ends at all and even if I didn't use any conditioner or leave on, I coud manage my hair easily.
I like this Baba Ramdev Divya Milk Protein shampoo more than the original one in few areas being its fragrance, packaging and the hair shine which it definitely gives. Otherwise the original cleanser gives nice smooth silky hair even without use of any conditioner which I do use in this case. I would keep using both these shampoos at various times but more frequently the original one.
Pros of Patanjali Kesh Kanti Milk Protein Shampoo
Good looking packaging.
Nice floral fragrance
Smooth texture.
Lathers well.
Nice list of ingredients.
Gives squeaky clean hair.
Makes hair shiny.
Does not dry out hair
Cons of Patanjali Kesh Milk Protein Shampoo
Conditioner is must with this.
Dry ends, if no conditioner used.
Delicate thin flip.

U can buy it online
DeleteThe product must have clear shampoo ingredient. There is nothing like ayurveda in commercial world. the ayurvedic ingredients dont exceed 5% in the form of extracts. Does it not contain SLES, without which no shampoo is made besides CAPB. It wont promote hair growth. DR R BHARDWAJ
ReplyDeleteVERY BAD SHAMPOO, MAKES MY HAIRS THIN AND ROUGH :(
ReplyDeleteConditioner is for scalp or hair
ReplyDeleteHair.. not scalp. If ur scalp is dry, massage with oil before shampoo :)
