This is yet another review on a Vedic Line product after Vedic Line Sandalwood & Turmeric Moisturizer. This is Vedic Line Neem and Brahmi Face Wash for oily acne prone skin with open pores and pigmentation. I have acne prone skin and I keep getting pimples occasionally just like I am getting few these days because of terrible summers.

I normally use my all time favorite Clean & Clear Face Wash to keep my acne at bay and in control but I just finished its bottle and had this Vedic Line Neem face wash in stock already, so decided to use it. Here is the review on this herbal face wash for acne prone skin.

REVIEW

This Vedic Line Disinfecting Face Wash comes in a transparent bottle with a flip cap. Though the bottle is transparent but appears green in color because of the green colored face wash inside.

Vedic Line Disinfecting Neem Brahmi Face Wash Review

The face wash looks like light green color gel  when taken in palms, almost transparent somewhat similar to Patanjali Gel, only difference being Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel is bit thick.

The smell of this cleansing gel is very herbal and strongly reminds of Neem with some disinfectant. The smell is not bad at all rather quite cool and refreshing. Its lathers just average not too much but definitely gives a clean looking skin.

I used just a drop of it and got clean looking fresh skin, but at the same time my face started feeling dry and stretchy. May be because this face wash is specially for oily skin and I don't have super oily skin, which ended feeling little dry. I had to apply moisturizer instantly to balance this dryess and stretchy feeling. I have also tried Vedic Line Sensitone Face Wash for Sensitive Skin, which did not made or skin dry or itchy.

Now coming to its effect and review on acne and pimples. As I mentioned above that I keep getting one or two pimples now and then. But this time I started getting a little more acne than normal because of extreme summers and for this reason I tried his Vedic Line Face Wash for acne skin. I have used this for about 2 weeks continuosly and it has kept my pimples in control along with reducing it. Initially I didn't like this cleaner too much since it dried out my skin again and again but now I apply moisturizer instantly after washing face, which helps in reducing dryness caused by this face wash. Along with controlling acne, it claims to work for open pores as well but didn't work for my open pores at all in this two weeks time.

Overall I am quite satisfied with this face wash in controlling acne and keeping them at bay but I think people with super oily skin and acne condition would love it. Moreover it claims to help with pigmentation also, so people with pigmented skin should also give this a try. This might be one of the best face wash for acne prone pigmented oily skin. But dry skin beauties should stay away from this Vedic Line Disinfeting Neem Brahmi Face Wash, since it would turn their skin even more drier.
