LAKME Eyeconic Kajal Review vs Maybelline Colossal Kajal

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal 10 hr.

LAKME is a brand I really love since it has some of the best cosmetic products at such a cheap price. Like I simply love Lakme Liquid Foundation, Color Crush and many more. I have reviewed lots and lots of kajals on my blog Makeup Reviews Hall, check Best Kajal Review. After using Maybelline Kajal for quite long time, 3 over I finally thought of trying this new kohl pencil from Lakme - Lakme Eyeconic Kajal. Though I am quite happy and satisfied with my Maybelline one since it dark, smudge free and not allergic to my sensitive eyes, but I still wanted to this raved eyeconic at least once. I am doing a detailed review of this Lakme Eyeconic with a brief comparison of it with Maybelline Colossal Kajal.

This Lakme Eyeconic Kajal looks similar to Maybelline Colossal in its shape and design except that Maybelline is yellow and Lakme Eyeconic is Black in color.

LAKME EYECONIC KAJAL REVIEW

This Lakme Eyeconic Kajal also comes in a twist up form similar to that of Maybelline Colossal Kajal. You just don't need a sharpener just roll it up and use. I actually like twist up kajals compared to pencils because there is no hassle of sharpening them, though they are really delicate than kajal pencil but still preferable.

On application, this Lakme Eyeconic appears to be more smooth than Maybelline Colossal since this is lot more creamier and thus glides very easily. Even Maybelline Kajal didn't give me any problems at all but the difference is that Maybelline is more towards the drier side and this Lakme Eyeconic comes much in a creamier form. Take a look at that the swatch of both.

LAKME EYECONIC KAJAL VS MAYBELLINE COLOSSAL KAJAL SWATCH

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal vs Maybelline Colossal Kajal
As you can see Maybelline Colossal Kajal is slightly more dark and dry than Lakme, but on application Lakme gives a real dark color without smudging. Maybelline remains smudge free on my eyes for quite long time so is this the case with Lakme Eyeconic Kajal? Yes and No both. It does remain smudge free on my eyes for quite a long time but since my eyes are watery and my skin is also oily in summers, the great combination of this actually makes this Lakme Eyeconic Kajal to smudge a little bit.

If you ask me which Kajal I would prefer I would say if i need a kajal for a party for 2-3 hours, in that case I would go for Lakme Eyeconic Kajal since its really dark and glossy but If I need a kajal for daily use like in office or so I would stick to Maybelline Colossal Kajal since it remains smudge free for long. So it all depends on your skin type and requirement.
