WHAT IT CLAIMS?

This nutrient-rich cream is blended with pure sandalwood, saffron, wheat germ, honey and bark of the arjun tree to keep skin soft, fair and moisturized. Protects skin with broad spectrum SPF 50 UVA/UVB sunscreen. Very water resistant, retains SPF after 80 minutes in the water.

Ancient Sages have used Sandal Wood to protect and heal the skin. It is an excellent combination of Sandal Wood along with Saffron, Wheatgerm, Honey and Bark of the Arjun Tree. It protects skin from the harmful effects of the sun and environmental pollution.

Direction for use: Apply liberally before sun exposure. Reapply, as needed after swimming or perspiring activities. Helps reduce the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects of the skin.

REVIEW

I love using Biotique products because they are herbal, effective & very  affordable. I bought this Biotque Sandalwood Sunscreen because, I like using sandalwood, it suits me really well & also it comes with spf 50, a necessity for heavy summers.

This Sunscreen comes in a simple jar bottle like other Biotique products, which I actually don’t like since they are not so hygienic to use.

The smell of this lotion is similar to that of Sandalwood & its little thick in texture. I would say it appeared to me more like a cream than a lotion.

On application, the sunscreen glides easily on face & I instantly felt my face looking glowy. However my face looks little greasy sometimes later but that’s the case in summer otherwise its works nicely on my skin. Regarding its effectiveness as a sunscreen, yes it definitely gives sun protection no doubt in it. After using it, my skin does not appears red like what it usually looks like. But I even thought it would help in lightening of my skin, because of so many wonderful natural ingredients in it, but unfortunately it didn’t, neither it claims that. So overall I am really happy with this Biotique Bio Sandalwood Sunscreen Lotion.
