I was about to review this Makeup Studio Foundation since long. This was about 6 months back I had first used it and since then I wanted to review, but some or the other thing always made me skip this. Finally I am here with the review of this Make-Up Studio Light Velvet Foundation and some of its other products list. I normally like liquid fluid foundation like Revlon Photoready Foundation an Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation.

This foundation comes in a very cute round transparent jar, very travel friendly can be easily carried in purse since it comes in creamy solid texture unlike those liquid fluid foundation which normally tend to leak or fall while on the move. Though I love liquid foundations since the dry one makes my skin appear more dry. I was little skeptical on using this too, because I was doubtful whether I would be able to blend it smoothly on my dry skin. But the person who bought me this, came with the MAKEUP STUDIO PRE BASE and I think it was that pre base or what you can call as a PRIMER, which did all the magic and this thick foundation blended so smoothly on my somewhat dry skin.

Light Velvet Foundation Review

 I have been using this light velvet foundation on and off and it gives me light to medium coverage with just minimum amount. I do find it little difficult to blend it specially in these winters and have to use lots of moisturizer to make it look smooth without any dryness or white cast, but some how nothing works like the pre base. Though it says it is creamy but I found it to be little drying if used alone. Here is the exact name and description of the pre base from Makeup Studio.

Make-Up Studio Pre Base is a light moisturizer as ideal basis for an even foundation. Contains UV-B (Oil Soluble) and Vitamin B (PABA) for an optimum and special protection from day & sunlight.

One can use any other primer like I use to use Elf Mineral Infused Primer but it just went out of stock recently. The foundation gives a nice finish with light to medium coverage. The coverage can be increased with more application but that makes face look a little white with drying which. This is the reason I don't like to use this in day time since I don't like to use a primer for daily natural makeup look.  Though its not much drying but using a primer and other stuff along with the foundation make me keep it for the night time for that night flawless makeup look.

So this was all about this Make-Up Studio Light Velvet Foundation. I like it somewhat. Its good for all skin type though I think dry skin people might find it to be drying a bit but one can try using it with the Makeup studio Primer since it makes skin look a lot better.
