Today I have got a unique product for people with acne prone skin. The product is a combination of very commonly used products in skincare but this combination is very different and unique- Its Dermadew Caloe Lotion - Caloe meaning Calamine and Aloe Vera Lotion. I have already done Lacto Calamine Review-the wonder acne product but since this comes with Aloe Vera, I wanted to give this a try.
This lotion from H & H Pharma comes in 2 variants,

I am a person with acne prone skin and thats why I always keep trying different products and home remedies for acne and pimples. But I avoid trying products overloaded with chemicals. I prefer ayurvedic products like recently I tried Chandrika Soap for my acne. Other than ayurvedic and herbal lotions, soaps and creams, I don’t mind trying the medicated one since most of them are suggested by dermatologist and this one from Dermadew falls in the same category.
The packaging of this Dermadew Caloe Lotion is far better than the original Lacto calamine which comes in simple plastic bottle with the cap on top, thus not too hygienic to use. But this Caloe Lotion comes in a a very travel friendly tube which looks very cute with its light pink color.
The lotion is light pink and appears really thick, a little more than the original calamine. It has weird mixed fragrance of aloe and calamine which I don't like much and the sad part is that the smell lingers on for some time.
On application, the lotion spreads easily and gets absorbed quickly inspite of being thick. It appears very soft and creamy when compared to Lacto Calamine and also leaves the skin nourished without making it dry. This is where this Caloe lotion comes into role, giving skin the benefits of calamine without making the skin dry because of Aloe Vera. I know how good the Aloe Vera is for skin, specially after using Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel, I just swear by its benefits and always look for product with aloe and this was one reason I choose this lotion and as expected my skin have been really benefited by this.
I have kind of acne prone sensitive skin. I keep getting few acne pimples on my face, upper arms on and off, specially after waxing, but this Dermadew Caloe Lotion have reduce this problem a lot. I won't say this has made my skin completely acne free but a huge difference in skin condition is visible after I used this regularly before sleeping for about a month.
Overall I would say, this Caloe Lotion is quite good lotion from Dermadew for people with acne skin, specially people with pimples on dry skin, since this does not dry out skin but people with extreme oily skin might not like it because of its creamy texture. Oily skin people can use Calamine lotion, which is best for oily skin beauties.
PROS

Comes in nice travel friendly tube
Contain Aloe Vera with Calamine to reduce dryness.
Good for dry skin with acne.
Affordable

CONS
Weird fragrance
Might be drying on extreme dry skin.
