As you know I am fond of using talcum powders in summers and specially the icy cool one, here is another talcum powder added to my list - Johnson Baby Powder. I love its products, have even used its baby lotion. Though this Johnson Talcum powder is not an icy cool one but just a normal powder since its not available with a cooling effect. I would have loved if it was, since I like its fragrance so much. However I even used Ponds Talcum Powder because of its adorable fragrance. REVIEW
Johnson's Baby Powder comes in simple white bottle with the curves at the corner. It has a sprinkler at the top, which need to be twisted left and right to sprinkle the talc. Above this sprinkler, there was a sticker, which was so difficult to remove, even after removal it left the stickiness behind.
This baby powder is very fine in texture and is extra smooth, though I don’t like touching any of the powders with hand as it irritates my fingers because of its slippery texture. The color of this talc is pure white like most of other powders. Now coming to its fragrance, which is the best part of this Johnson baby powder and the main reason for buying this powder. The fragrance is so gentle and mild as claimed but also very soothing and truly gives the feeling of a baby. Whenever I smell this powder, I feel there is a baby around me since I have seen most of the babies with this talc and so it makes me relate to them automatically.
One thing I miss in this talc in the cooling effect as mentioned above. Since I don’t use talcs all throughout the year but mostly in summers, so I prefer the cooling one. I wish I could make my own homemade cooling talcum powder with this Johnson fragrance, like the way I made my own leave in conditioner
Overall I like Johnson Baby Powder quite a lot. I would have loved it if it would have been available with icy effect for summers. Also I have read few controversies related to this Johnson baby powder but I don’t know how true they are and don’t even bother much about it since I don’t use powders so frequently, but if you wish to take an extra care of precaution, just search it over the net and decide yourself whether to use or not.
