How to get rid of PUFFY EYES - Best Cure & Home Tip

PUFFY EYES generally refers to the swelling in the eye area, around and under the eyes. This PUFFINESS and swelling of the eye could be a result of factors like crying a lot, specially crying at night and immediately sleeping after that causes more puffiness under eyes. Then things like stressing your eyes by continuous watching of TV and studying could also result into this.

There could be some other factors contributing to this like stress and tension. Most of us suffer from this EYE PUFFINESS at some point or other, but don’t worry we do have a quick fix for this. I am going to share with you one of best & easiest home remedy on HOW TO GET RID OF PUFFY EYES.

COLD WATER – Yes cold water is one of the best, natural, safe and an amazing way to treat puffy eyes.  Whenever you have this problem or you cry a lot, make sure to wash your face with chilled cold water as soon as possible to prevent swelling.

If you wake up with puffy eyes, splashing cold water is the first thing to do. You can get best result by holding air in your mouth area and then splashing water over eyes with a little force. Repeat this step 10-20 times and more if possible to see almost instant results specially if swelling in eyes have been very recent. This remedy always works me for me and I am sure it will work for you as well.

This was one of the best methods of getting rid of puffy eyes. However, you could try a few more like,

Keeping chilled freeze steel spoons (spoons refrigerated in freezer for some time to get chilled), on closed eyes( above and under) for 10 -15 minutes with gently rubbing them in between to get cooling effect.

You can also keep chilled cucumber slices above eyes and relax for 20-30 minutes followed by washing with cold water

Applying chilled rose water below eyes also helps in getting rid of eye puffiness.

  1. I do use cucumber slices and does do some good. I love the chilled and cooling effects too. Will now try the chilled spoons. Much needed tips especially also for tiredness.
