LAKME Invisible Finish Foundation Review

Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation comes in following Shade numbers as mentioned on the Lakme site,

Shade 1
Shade 2
Shade 4
Shade 5
Shade 7
Shade 8.

The shade I have bought is shade 01. I am quite a regular and loyal user of Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation but this time I thought of trying a different foundation from Lakme itself and since this Lakme Invisible Foundation had some unique looks that it now comes in spatula, so just got hold of this.

What Lakme Invible Foundation Claims?

For picture-perfect skin, blend this ultra-light, water based foundation with invisible finish for natural exuberance. SPF 8 shields the skin from harmful rays and prevents skin darkening keeping it young & fresh.

This Lakme invisible foundation comes a glass bottle with a spatula attached to its lid. I have rarely seen this in other foundations of Indian brands, so thought lets see if it helps in better application. And yes it does. Now I can actually control the amount of foundation I want out of bottle.

Since this Lakme Foundation is quite runny, using this without this spatula would have been a total mess. I just pop out the lid, apply small dots all over face using spatula and then gently spread using my fingers or sometime sponge and in both ways it works smoothly, since its actually easily blendable. This Shade 01 is the lightest shade but still it does not appear whitish on skin. I have oily skin which is sometimes even dry but this foundation didn't actually made it dry or oily, it was just normal. Regarding its coverage, I would say its an average to good foundation, it provides nice coverage, making skin texture appear smooth. I dont think it would be able to cover any big flaws or scars and I have not even tested it for the same. But its a good foundation for daily use specially with people who don't have too many scars and just want an even looking skin base, should definitely go for this Lakme Infisible Finish foundation.

Overall I would say its a pretty good foundation in this price range. Its easy to blend, water based, non oily comes with SPF, what else? But yes in case of coverage I would say Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation is better that this Lakme Invisible Foundation. Also I didnt like its smell. But otherwise a really good foundation for daily use with light coverage.
