This time summers
affected me really bad, so most of my posts this time are related to products
helpful in summer. This post is about another such product.- Mud Pack. Yes we
all have heard of applying mud in form of multani mitti in summers not only to
keep oil and acne at bay but also to give cooling sensation to face. I rarely
use multani mitti because of its drying effect since I have combination kind of
skin. Sometimes oily, sometimes dry. But when I saw this Mud pack in
combination with other wonderful herbs like haldi chandan, I decided to give
this Natural Bath & Body Haldi Chandan Mud Pack a try.

Review
This Natural Bath and Body Haldi Chandan Mud Pack comes
in a simple round jar bottle like its most of other products. I don’t find them
hygienic to use, but they are really convenient to use if at home or sometimes
even travelling like this mud pack. I take the pack on all four fingers at once
and apply all over the face in just two swipes, that would not be possible with
tube type or some other bottles so easily.
This Mud pack appears to be similar to normal mud
pack, has yellow color like multani mitti but is very very smooth unlike home
made multani mitti pack which sometimes have tiny granules left in it.
On application too it applies very smoothly and
easily. Just about 1- 2 swipes are sufficient to cover whole face. I just apply
and leave it. It gives me very cooling sensation when I apply it after I come
from hot. I just wait for it to dry and rinse. I feel my skin to be
revitalized, no oil no dirt, very refreshing clean face. Along with this I even
felt that herbs like multani mitti, haldi, chandan reduces tanned skin if
applied within a short time after sun. It also reduces the acne and helps in
controlling them by removing oil and dirt.
Overall I feel it’s a very good mud pack for
summers. Best part is it’s so easy to carry this tub full of wonderful
ingredients so that whenever you feel you have just been in sun a lot, apply
this since carrying herbs powder and making a paste in journey is just not
possible. Along with this it’s very good in reducing oil and gives a refreshing
feeling.
Pros
Gives immediate cooling effect.
Removes all oil dirt from skin.
Reduces tan if applied immediately after coming from
sun.
Keeps acne in control.
Very easy to carry this herbs paste.
Easily available online.
Cons
Expensive in form of a mud pack.
Might not be easily available offline.
Does not really do anything extra to face, just
keeps problems like acne, oil in control.
Fingers and jar get messed up, so hygiene issues.
